These cities have the cheapest luxury hotels in the world
India is still cheap for visitors from abroad and New Delhi is a great opportunity to experience a little luxury for a little. The service in luxury hotels in New Delhi is second to none, so don’t be afraid to leave a little more tip to show your gratitude and gratitude!
Bangkok
Bangkok, although it is a chaotic city, it manages to catch everyone who visits it. A city of more than 6 million people where you can find peace and solitude … weird, right? Here you can stay in a 5-star hotel -with all kinds of luxuries… and even end your trip in Phuket. With an influx of tourism comes an equally large flow of development, which means that there are lots of luxury hotels; in fact there is so much competition that you can always get a good rate. A 5 star hotel with all the luxuries can be around 180 euros a night. A luxurious night in Thailand is something to experience.
Beijing
Beijing, the capital of China often gets mixed opinions from travelers: some citing smog as an obstacle in their experience and some so excited to be able to see places like the Forbidden Square and Tiananmen Square. Whatever the case, Beijing is undoubtedly a destination that “must be visited once in a lifetime.” Great news is that luxury hotels are still cheap in the city (relatively compared to other destinations).
Panama City
If you are in Central America, be sure to venture beyond the popular Costa Rica and Nicaragua to discover jewels like the prosperous and cosmopolitan Panama City! Luxury hotel rates are much cheaper here than in many other cities in that area of the planisphere.
So, if you are looking for luxurious trip or honeymoon, and do not have a very high budget, I hope this serves you as an inspiration and you find the trip of your dreams in one of this fabulous destinations!

Luxury hotels around the world are increasingly expensive. Over the years, the average price of a room increased around seven percent during the past five years. But for travelers looking for deals, it’s not always bad news: some destinations saw significant declines in room rates, even in luxury hotels.
Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur not only has some of the cheapest luxury hotel rates in the world – room rates in luxury hotels start around 180 euros/ night – but also food, shopping and most of all people make this a must-see city during your Asian adventures.
Hi Chi Minh
Hi Chi Minh, while it is not the capital of Vietnam, it is a metropolis that you cannot miss if you are traveling through Southeast Asia. Vietnam as a whole is incredibly economical, but if you decide to splurge on a luxurious night, the best places to do so are far from the city center.
Medellin
Medellin, a small city nestled in a valley, Medellin is undoubtedly a destination that has much to offer. This great Colombian city has much to explore with a moderate temperature, fresh flowers throughout the year, and a diverse variety of cultural roots to experience and enjoy. The luxury hotels in Medellin are said to be the cheapest in the world, making it a great option.
New Delhi
New Delhi has been described by some as Eastern Rome, which is an accurate comparison when considering the whole story. The culture here that is so deeply rooted in the locals. This city is both magical and intriguing, while also having a chaotic madness! However, this is precisely what makes New Delhi so attractive to visitors, since there is always a crazy story to tell. Agreed that these cities certainly offer value for money when it comes to luxury hotels. These are the destinations where you get more bang for your bucks.
Additionally, many of these cities probably attract more business visitors than tourists. Consequently, they are well served by scheduled flights. Although the flights depart every day, savvy business people, who like to control their own diaries, tend to choose times to fly which suit them. It is a well known fact that Tuesdays tend to be a cheaper day to fly. Many hotels have their highest rates from Monday to Thursday when they have high business occupancy rates. Flying Tuesday to Tuesday, with a weekend in a luxury hotel, can provide utter luxury at a cut price rate.
That is all true! Im glad you found my article interesting, thank you :) Hope it serves as inspiration for travelers looking for a luxury stay at minimum price and there is also many interesting visits and experiences that you can do in these cities:)
All very true. I had a trip to Delhi recently where I could afford to live like a Maharajah. Not only was my 5* hotel an amazing provider of luxury, it also had an unbelievable service culture too. It was such good value that I could afford to hire a driver for the day who took me around Delhi’s sights. A day’s car and driver hire is about equivalent to an hour’s taxi ride in New York.
Thank you for your comment Jack! I agree the service culture in India is very good and specially loved the hotels, so authentic and part of the experience!
Medellin’s an interesting call. A decade ago it was a dangerous place but the city’s undergone a dramatic transformation and is now a great representation of the new Colombia. Now that it’s back on the travellers’ agenda I doubt that those bargain rates will remain for much longer.
I watched a Simon Reeves documentary where he reversed his normal formula. Usually he goes to paradise and finds its darker side but with Medellin he gave a quick recap of a murky history and then sold an optimistic vision of the future. Book those Medellin luxury rooms now!
Hi Jean! Thank you for your comment! Definitely Colombia is a very fascinating destination!
Often I feel in need of a holiday but can’t really afford it. Some great out of the box thinking here. Time to do the research.
Glad you enjoyed it! Hope you find your perfect vacation and always here if you need help with the planning!
Panama City – interesting. Any bloggers been there? Love to see a follow-up piece on it.
Hi Darius, I dont know any bloggers who have visited Panama but I can tell you from my experience it is well worth it :) specially planning a stay or tour in San Blas Islands!
As someone who has a tight budget, this is perfect. It’s good to know that despite the price increases on what feels like everything lately, that there are still reasonable deals to be had on a little getaway. Hotels can vary so much in price and I tend to think that luxury hotels are far out of my reach, so it definitely helps to be pointed in the right direction of where to look for a good buy. I think Panama City is an interesting one, I wouldn’t necessarily have thought of hotels there offering cheaper rates than other cities nearby. I’ve been to America once but that was the Indiana region. I’ve never been anywhere like Bangkok but I love the idea of lots of luxury hotels to choose from, the gorgeous weather and beaches and chance to relax. While tourism can have its downsides, the increased competition does seem to have helped there with hotel rates, which is brilliant for travellers.
Hello:-)
Thank you for a nice artickle:-)
I would be happy to get information on where the best and cheapest luxury hotels for long term rent is. Thinking of 30 days +, price estimate and place and name of hotels?
Best regard
Eirik Norway:-)
I love the idea of experiencing luxury without the high prices. Some of us think that luxury hotels are always expensive but we never put much thought to it since we know that it comes with value-added services and excellent facilities. However, there are luxury hotels that take away the high costs and give you the same experience. I’ve been to some of these hotels and I must say, they are worth it and you can’t even tell the difference.
Dubai and Abu Dhabi tend to have great value for 5 star hotel in summer, I went to The Palm Atlantise less than $200 last year.
