On paper a these MICE events look good. In my experience a lot of staff think that as their company is paying they should be working all the time. I’m not sure that employees always get the balance between work and leisure right. It’s a pity because these venues offer great leisure alongside the work.

Sometimes you need some Bleisure to get people to attend, all those presentations and networking can be hard work. Also being away from home can be disruptive so you need a few sweeteners to entice people to attend.

There must be a huge market for these events in South America, it must be a very appealing option for those booking events from North America.
