If you’ve never done a River Cruise then the Danube is the one to start with.
Thanks for the tip, Janet. Although yet to be convinced about cruising in general, I feel a river cruise with lots of stop-offs would be so much more interesting than one of the large ocean-crossing cruises.
Done lots of ocean-going cruises and enjoyed them greatly. I’ve always wanted to see Vienna and Budapest, perhaps this is telling me that it’s time to take a cruise down the Danube.

We were getting close to booking a river cruise at the start of 2020 then the pandemic turned up. We were torn between the Danube and Douro. Still torn. Can’t quite make up our minds. Entering this and winning would make our minds up.
