The transfer is done by speedboat, but it is way more comfortable than taking the sea plane. Don’t get me wrong, the vies from the plane are beautiful indeed, but you loose a lot of time going to the other terminal, checking in once again, sometimes stopping at other resorts before landing near yours,…. With a speedboat transfer none of that is the case as you literally walk straight onto the boat from the arrivals terminal en within 45-60 minutes you are at The Ritz-Carlton Maldives Fari Islands. If you want you can even take the yacht for the transfer and take a little nap in the master bedroom along the way!

It’s absolutely true that you can have a perfectly healthy food journey throughout your stay at The Ritz-Carlton Maldives Fari Islands, and the fish a super fresh + there are indeed many vegan options that taste amazing! Truly a food lovers paradise!

I’ve only done 2 resorts and both times we flew in which was amazingly spectacular.

You can select a very healthy diet from all the fresh fruit and veg available. I also focus on the fish and vegan options.

She had a proper fish-phobia and by going to the Maldives about twice a year she’s become much more relaxed about it and now she really enjoys it! Cause as you say, nothing beats swimming in warm waters with a plethora of fish surrounding you and making the scenes which is often dotted with stunning coral, even more breathtaking.

There’s only a few holiday attractions that I’d like to do more than swim around in a giant body of (warm) water surrounded by tropical fish. Especially if it’s in The Maldives.

I totally agree. Yes, the price isn’t the cheapest, but if I would be able to measure price/satisfaction then it would still be topping the list as it’s really worth it. You can spend half the price and go to another resort which will equally be nice and all, but are you flying home with the same sentiment as the one you have when leaving the Ritz-Carlton…..not really.
Of course, if you have a ton of Marriott Bonvoy points then it quickly becomes a whole other story and this might well be the best redemption spot in the whole Marriott portfolio!

It absolutely is! It’s such a wonderful time of the day and great t see that other guests equally take their time to soak it all up and enjoy the moment. And once the ritual starts it almost becomes like a real ‘zen’ moment
