Great plan, but don’t be later than 12 months in high season, like Xmas or NY or February/March. Properties are relatively small with limited space. If it is a dream holiday, plan well ahead so you don’t miss out on these stunning locations.

If we’re going to fly all that way from the UK we’re going to have to have some luxury to look forward to when we get there. A trip Down Under could be a plan. We should both be retired by Spring 2026. Plenty of time to plan.

I’ve done some amateur stargazing and really enjoyed it and would love to take it further.

Stargazing at the Pukaki Observatory seems to be a big step up to me and it would be brilliant when it followed such a good meal.
