  1. Getting inside Dali’s mind must be absolutely fascinating. His work was very radical and absolute revolutionary. Even though it was so different it appeals to many people. There must be something in our minds that he was able to make a connection with.

  4. I never knew that Picasso worked with ceramics too. He’s such an interesting character, one of the iconic figures of the 20th century, that it’s always interesting to know how his work was developing. A long time ago I went to an exhibition of his early work in Malaga. Although it was interesting it was very different to the way he saw the world at its peak by which I mean Guernica. Which I’ve wondered at in Madrid.

  5. As I spent a magical year studying in Barcelona when I was only 20, I love reading these regular posts on my favourite city as they help to bring the memories flooding back.

    Back then I would often come across an exhibition, as long as it had discount tickets for students, and be amazed at what a great hub Barcelona was for the arts.
