Bob, I have found trying to dine on what you have at home in a foreign land is pricey. It’s best to go for national dishes and concoctions, and skip the home pangs. Past the difference in food, this place has sights like few others and one trip will not do it!

Having had my moan, Iceland was the holiday of a lifetime. We loved every moment of it and are now saving our pennies to go back and do all the sights that we didn’t get to do this time.
