In reply to Gerald. It’s quite ghoulish and I really enjoy those air crash investigations that you get on TV. The amount of focus on tiny details is always very enlightening. In a way I can see why aircraft crash investigators choose that career.

In reply to Gerald. Exactly, Gerald… whilst there are lots of possible theories being branded around on social media, it really requires a formal investigation to happen. Whatever the outcome of that, it is a tragic incident, but thankfully the efficient evacuation process appears to have saved many more people.

With this sort of case it’s just as well to remember Mao Tse Tung’s response (in the 1950s) to a question on the consequences of the French Revolution – “It’s too early to say.”

On this sort of incident it usually takes a while for the full story to be discovered.
